Documents Required for the Active Duty Military Application
These are required documents for this property. Please review the list as you are preparing to submit your application.
STEP 1: Gather the Documents Needed for Your Application
- All applicants must provide proof of Duty Station and Report Date with one of the following:
- Orders
- RIP
- All applicants must present a Full Leave Earning Statement (LES) to confirm current rank.
- If all dependents (spouse/kids) are not listed on orders, you must provide the following documents:
- Marriage certificate or DD1172
- Birth certificates for every person under 18
- *If all dependents are listed on your orders, no additional documents are needed.
- If you have pets, you must provide all of the following:
- Shot records of each pet
- Photo of each pet
- *2 pet limit per household. Banned breeds include but are not limited to: Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Chow Chows, and Wolf Hybrids.
- If you are dual-military, you must provide both orders. One family member must be on another's orders; if not, you will need to provide a marriage certificate or DD1172.
STEP 2: Complete the HMC Application
After gathering the required documents, complete the HMC application by clicking apply now.
THE APPLICATION PORTAL MAY NOT BE SUPPORTED ON GOVERNMENT COMPUTERS OR MOBILE DEVICES. A NON-GOVERNMENT DESKTOP COMPUTER IS RECOMMENDED FOR A SMOOTHER EXPERIENCE.
*Any individual over the age of 18 who will be residing in the home but is not a dependent must also complete an application and note on the application with whom they will be residing. If they are a civilian, they must select the non-active duty application.
STEP 3: Complete Your MHO Referral

After Hunt approval, your application is shared with the Military Housing Office (MHO) for review. They will contact you for additional information in order to complete your referral. You may also reach them at (618) 416-0584 or 375.ces.ceh@us.af.mil.
Documents needed for the MHO application:
- A copy of your orders.
- If your dependents are not listed on those orders, you are required to include a DD1172 form as proof of dependents.
You'll need to complete the following forms, which will be emailed to you by the MHO:
- Referral Certificate of Eligibility
- AF Form 4422: Sex Offender Disclosure and Acknowledgment Form
- Release of Information Authorization Form
- DD1746: Application for Assignment to Housing
- Pre-brief for Privatized Housing Residents
STEP 4: Waitlist Placement and Move-In Requirements
Once the Military Housing Office (MHO) sends Hunt your referral, you will be placed on a waitlist for homes that you qualify for until you are offered a home. You will receive confirmation once you are placed on the waitlist.
Documents Required for the All Other Applicants
These are required documents for this property. Please review the list as you are preparing to submit your application.
STEP 1: Gather the Documents Needed for Your Application
- All applicants must show proof of income through a pay stub showing a full month's income equal to at least 2.5x the market rent (not reduced or promotional rent). If applicable, the monthly rent qualifier for a guarantor is 5x the market rent. Please note that an income qualifier is based on gross monthly income (excluding commissions, tips, or child support).
- If desiring on-base housing, proof of Military/DoD affiliation is required.
- If you have pets, you must provide all of the following:
- Shot records of each pet
- Photo of each pet

- Proof of Social Security Number
STEP 2: Complete the HMC Application
Complete the Hunt Military Communities Application by visiting ScottFamilyHousing.com, selecting prospective residents, and then application. Click "apply now," choose non-active duty, and complete the following items to enter the application portal:
- Download, review, and sign the screening authorization for credit and criminal screening. It must be signed by all parties over the age of 18 and submitted in your application.
- Download and review the application rental criteria. Enter your name and email address in the designated fields to access the application portal. You will need to upload this document in your application.
Any individual over the age of 18 who will be residing in the home must be included on the application. There is a $65.00 application fee, per adult applicant. To pay by debit or credit card, visit www.RentPayment.com.
STEP 3: Complete Your MHO Referral

Additional documents that may be needed for the referral:
- NCIC check for each person living in the home.
- DoD employees must provide a job offer letter.
- Retirees must provide a DD214.
